About

This is a vegan blog with links to petitions and more.

I’m Swedish. I’ve been eating plant-based food for many years. It’s something I’ve never regretted. To begin with, it was because of the way I felt about animals, but eventually I also found out about the other benefits of eating the way I do – health, the environment and more. I’m also interested in many other things, not relevant to this blog, but if we meet somewhere else, I’d be glad to elaborate, if you’re interested.

I have a vegan homepage with among other things, some recipes (and a couple of other homepages). You’ll also find me on  Care2, Booklikes, Dreamwidth, Twitter, and about.me.

  2. Hello Crimson Corundum!

I just wanted to personally say hello and let you know how much I appreciate your “likes” on my various posts.

From looking at your blog, I can see how concerned you are with animal rights, and environmental issues. It is truly commendable and refreshing to know that someone cares so much for this planet and the life on it.
Personally, I have friends that are Vegans and I wanted to share a delicious looking recipe for peanut butter chocolate cookies with you:

  3. I am a total carnivore. I tried vegetarianism in my early twenties and got incredibly sick to the point that I needed to be hospitalized. I applaud you that you are able to have this kind of diet successfully!

Thank you for signing up to follow my blog! I hope that you will enjoy my posts! – B

      1. I do! If you ever get the chance to visit this area and you would care to spend some time, I do know a number of places where you can eat that cater to the vegan diet, and there are such amazing historical sites…I can give you some ideas there too! Thank you again!

      1. Most of my earlier posts are about India…
February – May with some others later, here or there. I loved Incredible India. Lots of animal stories! Namaste. . .. Anne

  4. Welcome! Thank you for subscribing to follow my blog. I hope you are encouraged, inspired and enjoy the photos I take of life’s events as seen through the lens of my camera.
    BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!

      1. Looks great . Only thing is the missing picture. If you want, you can edit the post and copy and paste the picture and then Update the post. I left off the rules on mine and then included them in the notification of the nominees. If you can’t do that, then you could just post the picture on another subsequent post and explain…and notify the nominees who probably are already followers of yours. If you do nothing…it is fine… post looks great!
        Hugs,Anne
If you haven’t notified the nominees, you could include the picture to them then.

  5. What an amazing blog you have:) It is so important to raise awareness by sharing information. Thank you for reblogging my piece on the Namibian seals. I look forward to reading your posts. Together we can make a difference.

  6. Your blog is providing vital and much needed awareness. Thank you for doing what you’re doing!

    1. I’m against zoos because it’s just another way of exploiting animals. Children can learn about nature and wildlife in nature. Nordens Ark is also a very good example of where you can learn about wild animals – and they do a good job saving threatened species.

      1. Ok. mm.

  8. Thank you for reblogging my post, but most of all thank you for caring about the environment so much. Many of us do think about it , but do very little about it. I’m now following you to learn more about these issues.

  9. Tack ! great find another vegan who is vegan purely for the reasons of animal use and abuse. Nice to meet you on here 🙂 ha en bra dag !!

  10. I was very touched by your remembrance of little Marius in your blog description. I posted about this brutality time ago and this is always to be remembered. Pleased to meet a fellow animal lover and vegan.
