This is very true. Because of the way society works, I suppose I’ll always be sad. Knowing I’m doing the right thing doesn’t really change the way I feel. All the horrible dreadful things that are happening all around the world all the time really makes you numb. Fortunately, I’m stubborn. I’ll never turn back from doing what I feel is right even if I don’t have much hope it will change the world for the better, except for the few animals my veganism might save.

  1. You are not alone and the more people do what you are doing, the better. No, we cannot save the world, but we can make the world a bit better, and change the world for a few beings.
    Several organizations in the US have now added some professionals to their staff to help those helping animals since the work can be very stressful and coping with slaughter, torture and other forms of abuse can lead to depression. So asking for professional help is the best way to continue your wonderful path in helping other beings.
