White Lies? Five Milk Myths Debunked

Last month, a study was called into question for suggesting that chocolate milk could be beneficial for teens recovering from concussions. Not surprisingly, the study was funded by the dairy industry. For decades, milk marketers have been spreading misleading information about the supposed health benefits of dairy products.

  1. Do you remember the ‘Milk: It Does a Body Good’ ads from the 80s? There were many spokespeople used but one that I recall clearly was Cal Ripken Jr. How could he deceive the public, especially his fans like this?! He should be ashamed as well as the others, who were only in it for the money, glitz & glamour.
